Personality: Nagisa is a very bright, very chipper sort of guy. He sees the bright side in everything, all the time, and will gladly point it out to anyone who's willing to listen - and even to some people who aren't willing to listen. He is talkative and more than willing to fill any awkward silence with idle chatter. Also, he is very loud, energetic, and insistent.
It's important to note that Nagisa is a very stubborn person. Once he gets something in his mind, he won't rest until he's brought it to fruition. This is illustrated in the way in which he hounded Rei constantly until he finally decided to join the swim club, as well as the way he pressured his two old friends to start the swim club with him to begin with. It's very hard to tell Nagisa 'no', because he just doesn't want to take it as an answer.
Also of note, Nagisa is an overly friendly person. He tends to be much more touchy than most people would find at all appropriate, but he doesn't seem to have any idea how personal boundaries work. His speech is also very informal, as he has a tendency to give everyone around him cute nicknames via the '-chan' honorific and shortening their names when possible. It doesn't matter if people don't like him speaking to them that way, he'll go right ahead and do it anyway.
Despite how selfish he might seem because of the way he acts, Nagisa is actually an extremely selfless person. Everything he does is in an attempt to make his friends happier and to keep them that way. He can be very manipulative, often in a rather underhanded way, but the end result is always something to help his friends. He is always thinking about them and concerned about them and willing to do anything to make their lives easier and/or better.
Nagisa is also a very playful person. He likes to joke around, goof off, and all around have fun. It's very difficult to get him to be serious, and even then he tends to put a more fun spin on the way he acts. While he sometimes can seem like a petulant child, Nagisa is actually a decently mature young man who's just trying to make everyone around him happy to the best of his efforts.
Debt: His wish is that he and his team will get to swim together many, many, many more times! And not just through high school.
Suitability: Nagisa won't handle being forced to do work very well, mostly because he will very readily slack off and screw around rather than do what he's told. This will probably land him in a whole world of trouble over and over again.
Inventory: Nagisa was wearing his swimming garb when he was brought here! So swimsuit, cap, goggles, and that's about it. Not much for him to regain there.
Abilities, Strengths, and Weaknesses: Nagisa is a great swimmer. He specifically excels in the breaststroke, but his favorite thing is the relay race rather than something individual. He has a very well-toned body with lots of well-shaped muscles because of his swimming and all of the exercise that goes into it. On a personality level, Nagisa is very upbeat and hard to bring down. However, this can make him an extremely annoying person to most people, especially since he does attempt to be annoying a good portion of the time. He is clingy and desperate for lasting friendships and likely to become a nuisance very easily for most people.
